A very humble note and experience to share.

Been through 3 job interviews. All of three different outcomes and experience. In my humble opinion, it doesnt justify the world's interview process but these are my personal experience so far.

1. First company. GPS. Awesome vision, with very straight forward answers in expecation.
2. Second company. EcoXXX. New name is changed to XXX for a reason to be elaborated later.
3. Third company. ABC Tech =P Name is changed because its the company I've decided to land my first job as an engineer.


First company didnt gave any problem. Perfect job i wanted. but someone more deserving got the post. End of story ^^

Second company: Invited me for interview. First interviewer just as any interviewer which tells me life aint gonna be 'easy' but was nice. Second interviewer was basically an.. oh well someone sent to challenge your fresh graduate's scarce intelligence. He has greatly gave me the "vision" stating these following essential interview questions:

Interview Question 1: "So what does your father do?"
Interview Question 2: "How did you fund your tertiary level education"
Interview Question 3: " What about ur mother? What is she doing?"

Im expecting at least one eyed is widened from your face :P. Exactly. WHAT kind of interview question to begin with.

I was invited to attend a interview for the post of procurement engineer. First interviewer opened up to reveal that another position is also opened to me --> " Project engineer." Being a graduate, Project's job function is fundamentally giving better exposure, so i was more inclined towards Project post.
So, passed with first interviewer, I was directed to the second interviewer in few days time.
First interviewer- a nice lady who Knows her stuff well.

Second interviewer- well.. an AXX (u' figure out the remaining "X's")

"Procurement engineer also got alot of things to learn wan..."
" you need to make sure the things u feed in is correct... u need to do a lot of troubleshooting if machine cannot work right...." (wow. engineering fundamentals. impressive.)
" u have to order and purchase things. If u hear sound from pump means cavitation lor....... means u have to fix it lor... You have to buy parts and things like ... u know and elbow... Im sure u duno what an elbow is.." ( The L shape connector that connects 2 pipes in perpendicular angle)

Haha... man... u just insulted at least half of the population's ladies who knows at least Minor housemending skills.

However, as much as AXX is he. Their HR called yday. They've accepted me stating that

" Ohhh.. we want to offer you hor...."

" Can I reply to you by tommorrow?"

" Yes of course."

Move one, today, ABC tech mentioned to me that they've accepted me and looking forward for me to start in 2 days. Instinctively, for a company with great vision, i choose to take up ABC =) They really are big time achievers, though is not a MNC.
I'm blessed, and ultimately thankful.

So, HR of ECOXXX cant wait me to call up them and they chose to call me instead.
Put it short, heres how the last few lines ended:


HR: " you are Actually rejecting the offer?!?!?!?!"
ME: " Yes, but thank you very much for your...........
HR: *hang up*
ME: ... Time" =.= Swt

I guess the feedback was actually true. Anyways, good luck for whoever who wish to take up the job.
